PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure of a battery storage which prevents a battery lid of a product from being removed by unintentional dropping of the product with the lid left open and also prevents programs under preparation or data under execution from being deleted by battery removal due to the dropping. SOLUTION: In a battery storage structure having a battery storage section (6) arranged on one of two cases 1, 2 which are combined with each other at freely opening and closing state via a hinge shaft 3, and the battery lid 7 for covering the battery storage section (6), the battery storage structure has an interlocking holding mechanism wherein attachment and detachment of the battery lid 7 is kept at a possible state while the cases 1, 2 are closed by operating together with opening and closing motions of the cases 1, 2 and attachment and detachment of the battery lid 7 is kept at an impossible state while the cases 1, 2 are opened. Concretely, the interlocking holding mechanism is provided with an engaging member 71 arranged on the battery lid 7 and engaged with the hinge shaft 3, and an opening groove 31 formed on the hinge shaft 3 and separating the engaging member 71.
