PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for designing an engine mount reaching the optimal solution through a calculation in a short period. SOLUTION: The following tables are created: a "torque-spring constant table" showing the torque condition corresponding to each vehicle travel mode and the spring constant at the each torque condition required by the each engine mount; and an "engine mount arrangement table" showing the initial position of the each engine mount. Based on these tables, the displacement amount of the engine mount at each torque condition and the displacement amount at a prescribed point on a power plant are calculated. If these displacement amounts are out of the prescribed range determined in advance, the "torque-spring constant table" is modified and the displacement amounts are recalculated, thereby such a "torque-spring constant table" where any of the displacement amounts falls within the prescribed range is determined. The load deflection curve is sought from the determined "torque-spring constant table" and from the displacement amount of the engine mount at the each torque condition. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
