PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electric heater performing quick heating operation at restart of operation without making a user uncomfortable. SOLUTION: Based on time from operation stop to restart of the operation measured by a timer part 18 and a heating level set by an operation knob 13 at restart of the operation, a heating level of quick heating operation at restart of the operation is determined to perform the quick heating operation. Thus, the heating level is determined so as not to overshoot the heating level set by the operation knob 13 at restart of the operation and exceed a heating level intended by the user to perform the quick heating operation.
