PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat pad for a vehicle which is excellent in recyclability. SOLUTION: The seat pad 10 for the vehicle is composed of a molded foam resin. A string 28 made of organic fiber, instead of a conventional metal wire, is embedded in a pad body 12 as a member for locking a skin material 22 to cover the surface of the pad. It is preferable to embed the string 28 covered with a shell 36 made of paper or plastics into the pad body 12. In this case, both ends 28e of the string are exposed from the shell 36, and the exposed part is preferably impregnated with foam resin of the pad body 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
