PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating material capable of easily and inexpensively processing a space which is originally a nonmagnetic material such as an inner wall of a house or a store and a panel installed in a display space into a magnetically attracting space capable of magnetically attracting a magnet, and to provide a magnetic substrate coated with the coating material and a method for forming a surface to be magnetically attracted. SOLUTION: The coating material, which can form a coating film to which a magnet is magnetically attracted, contains iron powder. The iron powder is reduced iron powder, has a particle size of 10-60μm, is rustproofed, and is contained in an amount of 40-60 pts.wt. based on the coating material. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
