PURPOSE: A data collecting device with a data communication function using an ear jack is provided to inexpensively obtain a smart mobile terminal and a location area communication unit by a measurement device using a sensor. CONSTITUTION: A data collecting device with a data communication function using an ear jack comprises an ear microphone jack, an amplifier(221), a serial conversion unit, a sensor unit(211), and a controller(210). The ear microphone jack are inserted into and electrically connected to a microphone hole. The amplifier amplifies the electrical amplitude of the analog input/output signal of the ear microphone jack. The serial conversion unit converts an analog signal and serial digital data. The sensor unit controls a sensor and obtains data. A controller controls the sensor unit and transceives data using the serial conversion unit.
