PURPOSE: A cultural information searching system and a method thereof are provided to offer cultural information through a search using information of a time, a space, and a subject. CONSTITUTION: A cultural information database(310) stores cultural information including the information of a time, a space, and a subject. A spatial information database(315) stores the spatial information corresponding to the cultural information. A culture information retrieval part(320) reads cultural information corresponding to a keyword of a user. A component data extractor(330) extracts the information of the space, the time, and the subject from the cultural information. A search data provider(340) displays the extracted spatial information to a map using the location information corresponding to the cultural information.
