<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively recover energy by application of a suitable regenerative brake which is adjusted in correspondence to the amount of operation of a lever by a user, without an input brake function being obstructed, to extend a travel distance of a vehicle and to increase a battery lifespan. <P>SOLUTION: When a user operates a brake lever 142, a brake sensor output signal corresponding to the amount of operation thereof is input from a brake sensor 500 to a control circuit 620, and an input brake sensor output signal undergoes linear conversion to a regenerative braking force required value according to a converted data value obtained by prior measurement such as shown in a conversion graph, and a regeneration operation corresponding to the converted regenerative braking force required value is performed. When this occurs, a motor-assisted bicycle 100 steadily slows down, in the play section of the brake lever 142, according to the regenerative braking force produced by the regeneration operation. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
