<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus that connects a standardized multi-conductor cable to a different connector. <P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for connecting the multi-conductor cable 20 of a first device 100 to a pin grid array connector 10 of a second device 200 includes a first printed circuit board (PCB) 26 which terminates a lead wire 24 of the multi-conductor cable, and the lead wire 24 is connected to a first PCB surface mounted connector 22 which is mounted on the first PCB. The first PCB surface mounted connector is inserted and engaged with a second PCB surface mounted connector 32 mounted on a second PCB 36, and a PCB surface mounted socket grid array 33 which is engaged with the pin grid array connector 10 of the second device 200 is further mounted on the second PCB. By this device, regardless of the type of connectors used in the second device, the identical first PCB 26 and identical (that is, standardized) multi-conductor cable having the same first PCB surface mounted connector can be used. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
