<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a light-emitting device, capable of increasing output of light, and simplifying a manufacturing process to reduce cost. <P>SOLUTION: The reflective surface sub-assembly 100 for a light-emitting device includes a substrate 102, at least one region on the substrate planned for arrangement of light-emitting device assemblies 108 (1), 108 (2), 108 (n), and a diffusive reflective layer 106 applied on a predetermined region on the substrate.
