<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a versatile method for inputting an entire circumferential viewpoint images of a subject and control data to the apparatus for displaying entire circumferential three-dimensional images. <P>SOLUTION: In an image signal processing apparatus, the uppermost line of each viewpoint image arranged in a DVI frame is set as an information line, and one lowermost bit of each of R, G and B values out of pixel values of respective pixels of the information line is used as an information bit. In one DVI frame on which 180 viewpoint images are arranged, information bits of 51840 bits (=180 (images)×96 (pixels)×3 (bits)) can be secured. By using one lowermost bit of each of R, G and B values out of pixel values as an information bit, deterioration in picture quality can be suppressed to a minimum level. Consequently, the method can be applied to a three-dimensional image display system including an entire circumferential three-dimensional image display apparatus or the like. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
