<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate detecting and correcting position signals with high accuracy, even when shift of phase difference occurs in a plurality of the detected position signals, in a motor control device having a position detector. <P>SOLUTION: The motor control device includes a speed controller 106 for controlling a motor 100 at a constance speed and an phase shift corrector 504 for detecting and correcting the shift of phase difference of a plurality of position signals of a position detector 102 by analyzing the speed error with a frequency analyzer 500.
