<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical bed including a head angle alarm system. <P>SOLUTION: The medical bed 10 includes a frame 12, the head section 48 connected to the frame 12 and movable with respect to the frame 12 between first and second angular positions and a sensor usable for measuring the angular position of the head section 48. The sensor is attached to the head section 48 of the bed 10 at an indicated angle. A bed control unit receives a signal from the sensor, calibrates the sensor and monitors the angular position of the head part 48 of the bed 10 with respect to gravity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
