<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component supply device and a component supply method that can efficiently peel a sheet type component from peel paper. <P>SOLUTION: The component supply device peels a dome sheet 152, formed by arraying a plurality of dome parts 152a and disposed on the peel paper 151, from the peel paper 151. The component supply device includes a rotary member 121. The rotary member 121 has a suction hole 125 for sucking the dome sheet 152 by a suction means. The rotary member 121 rotates while sucking the dome sheet 152 by the suction hole 125 so as to peel the dome sheet 152 from the peel paper 151.
