PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner that shortens the manufacturing time and enables control excellent in electrostatic charge of toner particles. SOLUTION: The toner includes a core and a shell. The core includes resin containing first non-crosslinked polymer combined with crosslinked polymer, at least one modified paraffin wax having branching carbon combined with straight chain carbon, and an optional colorant. The shell contains second non-crosslinked polymer existing by an amount from about 20 wt.% of the toner to about 40 wt.% of the toner. The branching carbon of at least one modified paraffin wax exists by an amount from about 1% to about 20% of the wax and has a number average molecular weight of about 520 to about 600. The straight chain carbon exists by an amount from about 80% to about 99% of the wax and has a number average molecular weight of about 505 to about 530. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
