<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a circuit breaker that not only has an increased current transfer ability but also improves a contact formed by a rated current contactor when a switch is closed and opened. <P>SOLUTION: Two contact mechanisms capable of being moved along an axis A, in the lengthwise direction of the switch form an arc contactor system 12 and a rated current contactor system 9 connected electrically in parallel thereto; here, one of the contact mechanisms has the rated current contactor system 9, an inner rated current contactor 6 and an outer rated current contactor 7; and the inner rated current contactor 6 extends over the outer rated current contactor 7 in the lengthwise direction axis A and the outer rated current contactor 7 surrounds the inner rated current contactor 6 in a coaxial form. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
