PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide additives for lubricant for improving tribologic properties, to provide novel lubricants containing the additives, and to provide a process for the preparation thereof. SOLUTION: The lubricants contain nano particles, and the lubricants are characterized in that: the nano particles are ceramic particles which have preferably specified shapes and specified particle sizes and have specified thermal conductivity; the nano particles are dispersed in base material oil comprising natural oil, mineral oil and/or synthetic oil, ester oil or the like.
