PSEUDO BASS GENERATOR AND GENERATION METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pseudo bass generator which suppresses deterioration of sound quality. SOLUTION: An absolute value circuit 16 outputs an absolute value of a signal SIN' corresponding to an input signal SIN. A clip circuit 18 clips the signal SIN' corresponding to the input signal with positive and negative limit values. A first multiplier 32 multiplies the signal SIN' corresponding to the input signal by a predetermined coefficient. A first adder 34 subtracts an output signal S3 of the first multiplier 32 from an output signal S2 of the clip circuit 18. A second adder 26 adds a signal S4' corresponding to an output signal S4 of the first adder 34 and a signal S1' corresponding to an output signal S1 of the absolute value 16.
