PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque sensor and an electric power steering device simplifying the shape of a yoke. SOLUTION: The torque sensor 28 includes: a flat spring 33 connecting an input shaft 31 and a lower shaft 32 in a manner allowing relative rotation; and a pair of yokes 53 and 54 constituting a magnetic circuit together with a magnet 51 fixed to the flat spring 33. The torque sensor 28 also includes a Hall IC 56 detecting a magnet flux generated in the magnetic circuit, so that an input torque is detected based on the magnet flux detected by the Hall IC 56. The magnet 51 is fixed to the flat spring 33 in such manner that the positions of magnet poles in the axial direction of the shafts 31 and 32 (axial positions) change in mutually opposite direction according to the relative rotation of the input shaft 31 and the lower shaft 32.
