PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for economically and inexpensively producing a polyoxyalkylene-based polymer having an epoxy group at the terminal. SOLUTION: The polyoxyalkylene-based polymer (A) is produced by oxidizing a polyoxyalkylene-based polymer (a) having an unsaturated group at the terminal and a number average molecular weight of≥3,000 and has a group represented by general formula (1) at the terminal of a main chain and a number average molecular weight of≥3,000. In the formula (1), R<SP>1</SP>, R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>are the same or different and each represent hydrogen atom, 1-10C monovalent hydrocarbon group, or 1-10C monovalent group in which two hydrocarbon groups are bonded by an ether bond or ester bond, wherein other ends of R<SP>1</SP>and R<SP>2</SP>or R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>3</SP>may bond to each other to form a ring structure, R<SP>4</SP>is direct bond or 1-20C divalent hydrocarbon group or 1-10C divalent group in which two hydrocarbon groups are bonded by an ether bond or ester bond, wherein other ends of R<SP>2</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>or R<SP>3</SP>and R<SP>4</SP>may bond to each other to form a ring structure.
