<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup device which can be reduced in size and weight. <P>SOLUTION: The optical pickup device is achieved by using: a first optical radiator 11 which radiates a first laser light; a second optical radiator 12 which radiates a second laser light and a third laser light; an objective lens 20 which focuses the first laser light on a first optical recording medium 5, focuses the second laser light on a second optical recording medium 5, and focuses the third laser light on the third optical recording medium 5; a beam splitter 16 which reflects the first laser light and transmits the second laser light or the third laser light; a half mirror 17 which reflects the first to third laser lights coming from the beam splitter 16 and transmits the light returned from the objective lens 20; a collimate lens 18 which converts the first to third laser lights to parallel lights and which the returned light enters; and a photodetector 22 which subjects the returned light to photoelectric conversion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
