摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for measuring torque capable of accurately measuring the torque applied between first and second shafts, connected on the same axis by the medium of a torsion bar and enables miniaturization as well, and to provide a steering system which has the device onboard for measuring the torque. SOLUTION: The two shafts 21 and 22, connected on the same axis by the medium of the torsion bar 23, are provided, respectively, with annular sensor targets 1 and 2, wherein a plurality of detection object poles 1a and 2a, arranged circumferentially in a concentric manner, with the shafts being distributed equally. Magnetic sensors 3 and 4, which detect the detection object poles 1a and 2a of these sensor targets 1 and 2, are provided, respectively. The torque applied between the two shafts 21 and 22 is measured, on the basis of output signals of the magnetic sensors 3 and 4. The individual magnetic sensors 3 and 4 have a plurality of sensor elements, disposed in displacement in the direction of arrangement of the detection object poles 1a and 2a in the sensor targets 1 and 2, corresponding to the sensors, within a pitch of the detection object poles 1a and 2a, and obtain the signal outputs of two phases of sine and cosine.
