PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for feeding a shaft-shaped component in electric resistance welding which can be exactly inserted into a receiving hole formed on an electric resistance welding electrode, by making the shaft line of the shaft-shaped component coaxial with that of the receiving hole. SOLUTION: A feeding rod 7 is equipped with a retaining head 8 for retaining the shaft-shaped component 1. A retaining recessed part is formed on the retaining head 8 to retain the shaft-shaped component 1 in a state where the shaft-shaped component 1 is movable in its axial O-O direction. A sucking means 26 is provided to suck the shaft-shaped component 1 toward the inside of the retaining recessed part. A thrusting means 46 is provided to slidingly thrust the shank 2 of the shaft-shaped component 1 into a part of the inner face of the retaining recessed part in a state where the feeding rod 7 advances and the shank 2 becomes coaxial with the receiving hole 29 formed on the electric resistance welding electrode 28.
