<p>An on-board wireless communication apparatus which performs OFDMA-based wireless communication, provided with: a location information acquisition unit which estimates the location of the on-board wireless communication apparatus after a predetermined amount of time, based on base station location information showing the location of a base station, terminal location information showing the current location of the on-board wireless communication apparatus, and speed information showing the movement speed of the on-board wireless communication apparatus, and outputs the result as estimated terminal location information; a channel information storage unit which determines the transmission rate to be applied, based on the estimated terminal location information from the location information acquisition unit and the distribution of the transmission rate determined by the distance from the base station; a reception buffer unit which stores received data; a reception buffer amount adjustment unit which determines the data amount that needs to be received, based on the data storage amount transmitted from the reception buffer unit and the data type stored in the reception buffer unit; and a band allocating unit which determines the band to request from the base station, based on the transmission rate transmitted from the channel information storage unit and the data amount transmitted from the reception buffer amount adjustment unit.</p> |
