PURPOSE: A system information transmitting/receiving apparatus and method thereof are provided to inform system information which is updated through an IE(Information Element). CONSTITUTION: A system information decider(502) sets up a configuration switching flag as a first value. The system information decider sets up the configuration transition flag as a second value. An RF transmitter(510) transmits a P-SFH(Primary-Super Frame Header) including the fixed configuration switching flag to the first value or the second value.
