METHOD AND APPARATUS OF UPDATE S-SFH SP IE IN SLEEP MODE IN A WIRELESS SYSTEM

PURPOSE: An S-SFH SP IE updating method form a sleep mode in a wireless communication system is provided to update S-SFH SP IE. CONSTITUTION: A terminal receives a main P-SFH(Primary-Superframe Header) including a S-SFH change count field from a base station(S301). If a value of the S-SFH change count field is different with the stored S-SFH change count and is the updated S-SFH(Secondary Super Frame Header Subpacket Information Element) is in a range of current listening window of the terminal, the terminal presently closes a listening interval(S302).
