RACK-BAR SUPPORT DEVICE OF STEERING-GEAR

PURPOSE: A rack bar support of a steering gear is provided to enhance the operation performance of the steering gear and to reduce noise by decreasing frictional force in movement of a rack bar. CONSTITUTION: A rack bar support of a steering gear comprises a bore housing(110), a roller(120), a ball(130), a support(140), a plug(160) and a spring(150). The bore housing is communicated with a rack-bar housing(220). The roller makes contact with the rack bar and is able to rotate when the rack bar moves. The ball supports the roller. The support is slidably inserted into the bore housing and the ball is placed on the support. The plug is inserted into the outer end of the bore housing. The plug is screwed to the bore housing. The spring is located between the support and the plug. The spring supports the support by elastic force.
