PURPOSE: A biodegradable shroud for a funeral service is provided to prevent environmental contamination because toxic materials are not discharged. CONSTITUTION: A biodegradable shroud for a funeral service is manufactured by weaving poly lactic acid fiber. The biodegradable shroud for a man is composed of a robe, a durumagi, a jeogori, outer pants, inner pants, a blanket, a pillow, a Korean-style mattress, wool-cotton fabric, a visor, a chin cloth, a hand cloth, a beoseon, a robe string, a belt, and a hemp cloth. The biodegradable shroud for a woman is composed of a Korean-traditional women dress, a jeogori, outer pants, inner pants, a blanket, a pillow, a Korean-style mattress, wool-cotton fabric, a visor, a chin cloth, a hand cloth, a beoseon, a dress string, and a hemp cloth. The poly lactic acid fiber is manufactured by molding poly lactic acid.
