PURPOSE: A Corydalis heterocarpa-derived coumarin compound and a pharmaceutical composition containing the same for anticancer is provided to reduce Bcl-2 expression in a cancer cells and to induce cancer cell apoptosis. CONSTITUTION: A coumain compound of chemical formula 1 is derived from Corydalis heterocarpa. A pharmaceutical composition for treating or preventing cancer contains the coumarin compound of chemical formula 1 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. A pharmaceutical composition for preventing or treating cancer contains coumarin compound of chemical formula 2 or pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as an active ingredient. A health food composition for preventing or treating cancer contains Corydalis heterocarpa extract as an active ingredient.
