The limiter has a cage arranged coaxially relative to a rotor (4), where the cage exhibits a rolling body holder (7) for holding a rolling body (6). The holder exhibits a side wall, which is arranged at an oblique angle to a circumferential direction of the cage. The rotor comprises a recess (5), which interacts with the rolling body. A circular or annular pressure-exerting element e.g. rubber ring (9) or spring washer (10), is arranged for pressing the rolling body against the rotor. The rolling body is designed as a roller, and/or the recess is formed as a longitudinal groove in the rotor. An independent claim is also included for a method for manufacturing a torque limiter. |
