PURPOSE: An apparatus and method for reproducing contents using a DLNA(Digital Living Network Alliance) network in a portable communication system are provided to reproduce contents by using a DLNA network without a device for receiving contents. CONSTITUTION: A digital media server provides pre-stored contents, and a digital media controller selects the contents depending on the operation of the digital media server(510). Through the digital media controller, the selected contents is reproduced. A digital media renderer reproduces the contents under the control of the digital media controller(520). |
