PURPOSE: A panel assembly type water tank and a construction method thereof are provided to extend the lifetime of the water tank, and to reduce the repair and maintenance cost of the water tank. CONSTITUTION: A panel assembly type water tank comprises the following: a panel(30) installed on a water tank structure(10); a waterproof sheet(50) attached to the panel; and attachment reinforcing members(70) included in both the panel and the waterproof sheet to be attached with each other. The attachment reinforcing members are formed with a non-woven fabric material.
