FIELD: printing industry. ^ SUBSTANCE: system to process printed items comprises a central transmitting station and multiple additional processing stations. The central transmitting station comprises a location of printed items loading, a transportation device, several locations of connection and a withdrawal location. Additional processing stations include a delivery station and a discharge station. During processing a printed item is transported from the central transmitting station into one of processing stations in any sequence. On completion of the processing operation at a certain processing station, the printed item is moved back to the transmitting station. Completed printed items are removed from the transmitting station in the withdrawal location. Provides for optimisation of the sequence of various processing stages. ^ EFFECT: invention provides for the system operation, even if one of the processing stations is out of service. ^ 37 cl, 5 dwg |
