FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to cutting devices. Proposed device comprises table to accommodate workpiece and cutting element arranged on table top to vertically move thereabout. Cutting element comprises cutting edge and clamping section arranged on cutting edge lateral side to allow operator to clamp workpiece in its vertical motion. Clamping section has part for contact with operator's palm in clamping workpiece. Said part has first end on cutting edge side and second end opposite to the former. Said palm contact part is inclined to base line so that said first end is arranged on rear side of second end. Base line is perpendicular to cutting blade surface. In compliance with second version, clamping section has first surface and second surface opposite the former. Note here that first surface allows operator's palm contact.
