<p>The gabion has rear and front-side front guards (1, 4) connected with one another by side guards (2, 3) that comprise lower end sections (8, 9). The sections are connected with a part of the side guards by bending reinforcement zones and formed by an area that projects over the front-side guard. The sections are fixed to the ground over a base plate (10) welded to a vertical part of the side guards. The base plate has grooves at its lower side and/or at its longitudinal side, and the zones comprise transverse wires (18, 18') that run diagonal to a longitudinal direction of the side guards.</p> |
