PURPOSE: A personalized service apparatus for a vehicle and a method thereof are provided to reduce personalized service times since whether a driver is registered is determined by an image photographed before the driver gets in the vehicle. CONSTITUTION: A personalized service apparatus for a vehicle comprises a camera(100) and a processing unit(200). The camera is installed in a door at the side of a driver seat. The camera photographs an external object(300) of the vehicle. The processing unit determines whether the object is a registered driver or not based on the image. If the object is the registered driver, the processing unit provides personalized service to the driver. |
