The pump (1) has a pump body (2) delimiting a hollow cylindrical chamber (3) and providing an internal wall (4). An air suction tap (8) comprises an air suction pipe (9) opening in the chamber through an air suction orifice (12) formed in the internal wall, where the air suction pipe extends between the orifice and a check valve. An additional air suction passage (17) is arranged between the chamber and the air suction pipe. The additional air suction passage has an area lower than the area of the section of the orifice.
