PURPOSE: A system and method for recommending appliances according to power consumption are provided to enable a user to select optimal electronic goods which can be used for longest time within a limited electronic fee of a user. CONSTITUTION: An input unit(12) provides an interface which enables a user to input product recommendation basic information. Based on the user input information inputted through an input unit and the product information and electric fee calculation information of a storage unit(15), an electric fee calculating and product recommending unit(13) searches an electronic product having power consumption within a limited electric fee range. An electric fee calculating and product recommending unit outputs the searched electronic product to an electronic product recommendation screen.
