COLLER PLATE WELDING APPARATUS AND WELDING METHOD

PURPOSE: An apparatus and a method for welding a collar plate are provided to improve work efficiency by automating the process of welding a collar plate to a floor in a ship. CONSTITUTION: An apparatus for welding a collar plate comprises a rail(110), a carriage(120), and a welding torch(121). The rail is installed along the circumference of a collar plate(30) which is inserted in a longi and pressed onto a floor in a ship. A magnet is installed on the rail to attach the rail to the floor. The carriage moves along the rail. The welding torch is installed in the carriage and welds the circumference of the flange and the collar plate.
