PURPOSE: A wide converter lens is provided to allow a photographing lens equipped with the wide converter lens to be minimized and laminated. CONSTITUTION: A wide converter lens is mounted to the object side of a main lens and changes an image angle. A first lens(100), a second lens(200), and a third lens(300) are successively arranged from an object side to an image side. The first lens and the second lens includes negative refractive index. The third lens includes positive refractive index. The converter lens satisfies an inequality, 2vd >= 50. In the inequality, vd is the abbe number of the second lens.
