PURPOSE: A subscriber identification apparatus and method for the same are provided to store data in a subscriber identification card having the storage of the low capacity. CONSTITUTION: A storage space confirming unit(220) confirms whether the storage capacity within a storage is sufficient. A virtual memory area generating unit(230) generates a virtual memory area corresponding to the storage of a terminal. A data storage managing unit(240) matches with the virtual memory area which is recorded within the storage. The data storage managing unit calls the storage data which is recorded in the virtual memory area.
