FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: proposed unit comprises frame, ingot moulds arranged to turn about shaft and secured on said frame from below and above, and ingot mould drive. Prior to charging hot metal, ingot moulds are heated by average-pressure gas injection torch arranged sideways of unit, below ingot mould. Paint is applied on ingot moulds by coating gun fitted on bracket. Ingot moulds are cooled down by three axial blowers arranged on said bracket mounted on the truck moved on rails by air cylinders. ^ EFFECT: simplified design. ^ 4 dwg |
