<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell device suitable for a small power source for electrical appliance capable of stabilizing a power-generating operation of the cell device as well as monitoring an operation state including power-generating available time of the fuel cell device, on an electronic appliance side using the fuel cell device. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell device has a communication means for notifying a remaining amount of a methanol aqueous solution stored into a fuel cartridge of a direct methanol fuel cell device and/or an operation state of the methanol fuel cell device to the electronic appliance using the fuel cell device. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
