PURPOSE: A composition containing imidazole compounds for preventing and treating eye angiogenesis-related diseases is provided to suppress the expression of VEGF A and FLK-1. CONSTITUTION: A composition for preventing and treating eye angiogenesis-related diseases contains (E)-2-(2-((3,4-dihydroxyphenyl)(4-(2-(dimethylamino)ethyl)-1H-imidazol-1-yl)methyl)benzo[d][1,3]dioxol-5-yl)vinyl sulfate of chemical formula I and pharmaceutically acceptable salt thereof as active ingredients. The eye indicates cornea or retina. The eye angiogenesis-related diseases are congestion, diabetic retinopathy, macular degeneration, CNS, neovascular glaucoma, corneal neovascularization, premature infant retinopathy or ocular tumor.
