A paint container assembly comprises a paint container having a body 152, a lid 154 for sealing the body 152, and a rolling surface 156. The rolling surface 156 is housed within the body 152 and moveable vertically when the lid 154 is removed. The rolling surface 156 includes at least one hinged tab 165 located on its periphery, such that, with the lid 154 sealed on the body 152, the hinged tab 165 can be positioned between the lid 154 and the body 152 so as to prevent the rolling surface 156 from moving vertically downwards such that the rolling surface 156 is maintained suspended above the paint level. |
