PURPOSE: A cooker is provided to increase the thermal transmission rate of food and to make even thermal transmission through the food by forming an electric field. CONSTITUTION: A cooker comprises a cavity(10), a heating source and an electric field generation part. The cavity has a cooking chamber(11). The heating source offers heat to a cooking material. The electric field generation part receives high voltage from outside and forms the electric field inside the cooking chamber. The electric field generation part comprises a first and second electrode part and an insulating member. The first and second electrode parts are connected to the external power supply. The first and second electrode parts are located on both sides of the cooking chamber.
