A cellular communication antenna mounting arrangement comprises a plurality of mounting apparatuses 144, 146, 148, each comprising an intermediate member 158 pivotally attached to an antenna mount 154 to pivot about a first axis 160 and where the antenna element 162 is pivotally attached to the intermediate member 158 to pivot about a second axis 164 which is parallel to the first axis 160. The pivoting of the antennas may be performed manually or automatically and may involve an optical encoder, or potentiometer, position sensors and/or stepper motors, control and gearing arrangements. Also disclosed is an antenna mast system comprising a base, at least one mast component and an antenna mount, which include mast alignment means providing a datum for accurate and repeatable positioning of an antenna system. Alternatively, there is an antenna mast comprising two vertically spaced mounting structures for different antennas which are independently operable to adjust the position of the said antennas. Further disclosed is an antenna mast system where modular mast components are selectively secured together in a variety of different configurations to suit an installer's requirements. |
