<p>The rail has a rail body (12) including a receiving chamber (13) that extends in a longitudinal extension of the rail body. A filling body (16) is provided in the receiving chamber of the rail body, and is removed from the receiving chamber by a packing unit (21) with transverse packing belts (22) that run transverse to the longitudinal extension of the rail body. The belts partially surround the filling body, helically run along the filling body and space at a distance to each other. A length of the belts is larger than the length of a cross sectional size of the filling body.</p>
