PURPOSE: A resonator of a surge tank, in which a resonator path for a control plunger are installed, is provided to increase the intake efficiency by resonator by opening the resonator path after decreasing the negative pressure of the intake manifold. CONSTITUTION: A resonator of a surge tank comprises a negative pressure operation path(5), a plunger(6), a spring(7), a sealing cap(8) and a vacuum hose(9). The negative pressure operation path is formed to be connected with a resonator path(4). The plunger is inserted in the negative pressure operation path to move. The plunger comprises a body and a connection path. The body blocks the resonator path. The connection path opens the resonator path. The spring is installed in the negative pressure operation path. The spring supports flexibly the leading end of the plunger. The sealing cap is fixed in the open end of the negative pressure operation path. The sealing cap seals the negative pressure operation path and prevents the separation of the plunger. The vacuum hose connects an intake manifold and the end part of negative pressure operation path.
