METHOD FOR PRODUCING GRASS HAVING DWARFISM

PURPOSE: A method for producing dwarfism-induced grass is provided to reduce weeding work and to reduce labor. CONSTITUTION: A method for producing dwarfism-induced grass comprises: a step of treating gamma ray 60Co to flowers of grass at 10-50 GY; a step of cultivating gamma ray-treated grass and collecting seeds; and a step of seeding the seeds and selecting dwarfism-induced grass. The grass is Zoysia spp., Zoysia japonica, Zoysia matella, Zoysia tenuifolia, Zoysia macrotachya, or Zoysia sinica.
